🗺️ LABS Supports Implementation of Infratel Italia’s National Network Inventory System
The Network Inventory System is a nationwide initiative commissioned by Infratel Italia S.p.A., the government-appointed agency responsible for executing Italy’s Broadband and Ultra-Broadband Plans. Laboratori Guglielmo Marconi S.p.A. has been awarded the contract for managing the data integration of previously completed infrastructure deployments.
As part of this effort, LABS will develop a centralized digital mapping archive by uploading, standardizing, and verifying the database of all infrastructure routes and junction schemes—covering over 16,000 km of network already built by Infratel Italia.
This comprehensive mapping will significantly enhance the efficiency of future deployment processes for both fiber optic and radio-based infrastructure, supporting Italy’s digital transformation goals.
